Vanessa's Posting on First Week in IMU

Hello my darlings! Hahaaa.. Yea, IMU stands for International Medical University. Oh, christine.! How I long to see you once again? Have you grown thinner, prettier? When you coming back? I hope soon enough. Eeeeeeee, Puan Vijaya didn't ask me to escort oso. TT Yea I heard that my junoirs in my school got their awards, without actually completing finishing it. But they got it from Johor, we get it from Sabah. At least we got to fly! LOL. Hehehe..

Just an update, the people here in my university seems all so... SMART? and I being the... erm... not so hardworking one have to change my plans and start being like a smart ass too. Oh well, I've meet nice people here, though not really the ones that staying in the same apartment as me. I met friends that travel to classes from various parts of KL. And yea,, TZE MIN, got lots of leng chai for u to meet. But erm some aare....HAHAHHAA. Okay. I shall not mention here. How I wish you were here Tze Min. Then we can go classes together. Hmmm, well the campus here is actually very nice. Not really just one small building as you see outside. They are practically expanding and it's getting really niceerrrr. Hehehe.. I still haven't get used to the people here, everyone wears formal clothes. Guys and girls, which makes it hard for me to dress up in the morning. I have not many formal clothes you see! Hahaaa.. Okayla so since Christine can't really read, I MAKE THE FONT BIGGER. Hehe.

So, please tell me that we are really going Genting this end of the year? I'm really looking forward to it. Yea, I was told that we need to book at least more than one month earlier. My mum can help us to book, maybe for a cheaper rate. HEHE. So, who else is going so far? ME, YOU, and Tze Min, Rachel.. I can't remember who else. Let me know. So should i just book one room and we all share share sempit? Hehee.. Christine, got any leng chai or(BF) you wan to bring to genting not? ehehe.. Okayla.. I gotta go. Whoa Christine...You're in one of your good mood aren't you? You sounds so happy..haha..Glad to hear you're really enjoying your campus life, it sounds really fun to me. I'm loving it here in UCSI too (stands for University College Sedaya International). Eventhough I haven't join any society or club or cca or whatever in particular, there's really alot of things to keep me busy. But I like being busy, it gives you a purpose right?


Since Van can't really blog much now for her campus don't have a internet connection, I'll just answer your question for her. Well IMU stands for International Medical University (ya...I know sounds very yeng), but I don't like there cause got no shops around :x Poor Vanny, but she still come to see me often for my campus is not that far from her and besides, she has got some free transport system (coughs coughs...)

Thinking back on our Queen guides days really, yea of course I still remember the whole-day rushing that we did in Pn V's house (remember the glass flowers that you broke Christine??) and not to mention crying and condemning Pn Nik or whoever that tested us during the Bengkel Pesuruhjaya time. But but..the best memories is still when we were actually sitting in that aeroplane that's fully sponsored and flying on our way to Sabah...Aaahh...the memories... It's sad to hear that Queen guides is of lower standards now. 100??? Are you kidding me??

But nevermind, at least i've got my fond memories to keep.

Back to my campus life. Well lectures have been really tough. I'm studying like everyday is a major exams, it is that bad, and also because my classmates are really like a bunch of kiasu people (can fight with your singaporean classmates wei..). But studies aside, I've met a bunch of really interesting friends. They're a funny bunch I tell you. And and...near my campus here got the biggest pasar malam in the whole of Malaysia (that's what I hear lah!) and it's really really long...selling alot of things . I think it will take me the whole of 4 years here to try everything out. haha!

anyway van, IMU stand for what? swt...you gals used so many short forms that i don't even know those words stand for what...-_-"

well, basically i'm super damn busy woman now (ooppsss...should be lady. sounds nicer. hehe..). you gals might thought that i'm pretty busy with my part-time job which actually IS NOT. i rarely work anymore now. if i even get to work once a week, it's already considered a blessing to me. well, besides the fact that tons and tons of assiggnments plus projects (which i'm used to it already and as usual..everything last minute completion) i also took out one cca in my this 2nd year.

CCA ---> co-curricular activities.

hey! when mentioned abt last minute completion right, it reminds me back to our queen guides day. not really something that we should proud off (i mean all the last minute attitude we had) but i really miss those days where we get together most of the time. it was like we became sisters to each other!! oh oh...talk abt queen guides, did you gals hear or heard anything abt this year (07/08) queen guides award ceremony??!! it was at johor. puan vijaya and puan sio actually asked me if i can actually escort this year queen guides throughout the whole ceremony. but i can't since i have presentation on that week. if only i don't have any presentation on that day, i sure will accept that offer. =(
so, did puan vijaya call you gals abt it? puan sio told me that if they can't get me to go, they might ask you and tze min whether can go or not.
what surprised me was that this year they have over hundred girls receiving the queen guides award from the queen. and worst, some of them haven't even totally completed their test!! they are taking it at johor few days before they going to receive the award. sounds funny (or in fact weird) huh??! well, actually puan sio told me how this kind of thing can happen. but i can't write it off at here. it's a racist issue. well, i think u all can roughly guess what is it about right??! if cannot, then the next time when i see you gals remind me to say it out abt it.

So, back to my cca topic, it's called SPARC!!

SPARC ---> Singapore Polytechnic Ambossador Relation Corps.

Sounds cool huh?! well...it is!! i love this cca so much that i decided to change my earlier on promise which i made in 1st year that i will never take up any cca in poly life. haha...see how great this cca can cause me to let go of the promise i made!
SPARC, what we do is generally ushering during any event held within the school. we are also representative of Singapore Polytechnic. it some sort of grand and prestigious cca. not easy to get into this cca too. i went through two interviews and finally i am under 2 months of probation now. wahh i tell you gals something...this cca is super damn active in outing. can say that almost every week will have an outing. but sometimes may not be outing but training. this kind of cca requires high professionalism. so the seniors actually arrange a lot of traning (or what they call deportment) class for junior. worst is that we have to join or attend any of the outing they organised for us. they actually apply merit and demerit system into the cca. sounds strict huh? but of course if got valid reason then they won't give demerit points la.. haha...
lucky thing now i don't stay with my parents anymore. if not then very difficult for me to give commitment to this kind of cca. you know my parents la..don't really support this kind of thing. but now that i stay with my aunt, i can do almost anything that i like. last time when still new, my sis set a lot of rules to me. one of it is that i cannot reach home after 10 pm. but now, i even reach home at 2am bcos of my work and they can't do anything with it. so even though i don't go to work, i can still go back late as long as not too late. last time i dun have the house key mah... but now i own a set of the house key. so MERDEKA dy!! haha...

i still have another one and a half month of school to go before i can get to enjoy my 6 weeks of semester break. gosh....can't wait for my coming holiday.
seriously, i've been sleeping very little number of hours nowadays. in fact, this few days i kept on missing my first class of the day since i can't wait up in the morning. and my eye-circled getting worst!! haih...

i felt terribly sad that i can't go back malacca during weekend. my mum just informed me that durian and rambutan back at my grandma house is fruiting. sad enough to tell my mum that i can't go back until my holiday which will be in sept. =(

by the way, i'm really looking forward for our december trip!!
VAN!! my aunt said that if want to stay over at genting, we need to book the hotel room. especially we are going in dec. high occupancy rate! maybe you may even have to book earlier like one month (i guess. i don't really know abt it also.) so,are you going to deal with it or you wan me to help you with that? i dun mind cos i can just ask my aunt or even my sis to help me with that. so you just tell me if you need any of my help k~

well, i guess i'm gonna stop here. can't think of anything else to write.. =P

p/s to van and tze min: the next time when you gals post any blog, enlarge the font pls. although i got perfect eyesight, if you gals maintain the font like now, i guess sooner or later you gals will be seeing me in optical shop choosing glasses!!!

And for the Genting trip.. WE ARE SO GOING. After Rachie's STPM. Don't ffk aaa. Lol. Hehe. Till then, keep in touch you guys. I haven't seen Christine in a whilee.. Miss u laa.. Anyways. Take careee!! =)

Sorry for not updating for soooo soooooooo long (the same goes for you too Vanny!). Well actually i've created another blog elsewhere but i'm still gonna pen things down here once in a while.

So...what's been happening to me? I'm finally in UCSI doing pharmacy, and well it isn't as fun as SAM i have to admit, but i have to get used to it anyway. Classes are way bigger now, and lecturers seems to drone on and on forever (they don't seems to have any sense of humour by the way). But besides that things are really great here. I've met quite a number of interesting people and the place here is rather nice.

Oh, and about your plans for Genting at the end of this year. When are we actually gonna go then?
